It has taken many years of painstaking and dedicated work to finally arrive at this point in time where the full restoration/conservation
of the Drummond Memorial Chapel looks like a feasible possibility. However, because the Churches
Conservation Trust has always been strapped for cash their direct financial involvement in raising funds for this final stage is
going to be very limited.
The CCT has always been very supportive and used their professional and scientific skills in organising and overseeing
projects, from the initial concept through to final sign-off.
In effect, fund raising for this Second Phase of very specialist work will be largely down to the endeavours of the Friends
Group of volunteers. They will be running many social and fundraising events and will investigate as many outside funding sources as possible.
